WITH YOUR HELP

To all my Dear Brothers and Sisters in PTW:
"I thank my God every time I remember you.  In all my prayers for all of you, I always pray with joy because of your partnership in the gospel from the first day until now, being confident of this, that He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.  It is right for me to feel this way about all of you, since I have you in my heart; for whether I am in chains or defending and confirming the gospel, all of you share in God's grace with me.  God can testify how I long for all of you with the affection of Christ Jesus.  And this is my prayer:  that your love may about more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best and may be pure and blameless until the day of Christ, filled with the fruit of righeousness that comes through Jesus Christ - - to the glory and praise of God."  (Phil. 1:3-11)

I thought this Scriptural passage was very appropriate for what I feel in my heart towards each and every one of you.  For those of you who have accepted Jesus as your Lord and Savior and are steadfast in the study of His word, I praise His Holy name.  For those who have stepped forward to volunteer their time to becoming a pen-pal or Bible Study Mentor and put their faith into action, I am continuously thankful.

PTW will be moving foward into many different avenues as the Lord directs and I ask that you keep it constantly in your prayers.  We will......

      .....be looking into opening a transitional house for those inmates being released back into society.  We will be able to assist in finding them employment and housing.
      .....have a mentoring program for high risk teens with adults volunteering their time for tutoring.
      .....have an adult literacy program to assist people in learning to read, write, and apply for employment.
